Hey,  There is no programming available off the Maxi Sys Pro tablet for anything except for some modules in certain models of Mercedes, BMW , and Audi and no key programming for these models yet as far as I know of at this time. If you buy a Pro or Elite and don't do a lot of programming of BMW , Mercedes , and Audi, you are setting your self up to pay almost double the cost to update car coverage and you can not downgrade it to a regular MS 908 , MS905, or 906 afterwards . Something to consider if you figure out programming High end cars is just too risky to trust off a Chinese server with a non validated J2534 device, or if salvage yard unit flashes just seem too few and far between to justify $1200 updating costs, especially if  no cut and dry instructions are provided to do software backups on these tools and you are forced to buy another update to get the tool working again .

How did you know there was a function for programming on GM? it has been at least 2 years since this function was removed.

Maybe he has a DS708 that hasn't been updated in a very long time, or a very good memory?

I have the same problem you solved it?
